Dies ist mein erstes Buch von Taavi Soininvaara und auch der erste Band in der Reihe um den sympathischen Arto Ratamo.
Beim Lesen der ersten achtzig Seiten, dachte ich, es würde sich um einen dieser beschaulichen und ruhigen Krimis handeln, eher literarisch wertvoll als spannend.
Doch schlagartig ändert sich die Situation und unvorhersehbares und grausiges geschieht. Nun beginnt ein wahres Ermittlungschaos, doch die Spannung steigt von Seite zu Seite und gipfelt in einem grandiosen Ende.
Durch die Ereignisse, die im Epilog beschrieben werden, kann der Leser wieder an das Gute in der Welt glauben und beruhigt schlafen.

Der beste Einstieg in die Welt des Arto Ratamo.
