Mit seinem Roman „ Tiefe“, der nun auch als Taschenbuchausgabe vorliegt, betritt Henning Mankell ein neues Terrain.
Es ist kein Buch über Afrika und auch kein Krimi mit Kommissar Kurt Wallander.
Der Protagonist des Buches Lars Tobiasson-Svartman, Vermessungsingenieur für die Seefahrt, lernt auf einer Fahrt die einsam lebende Sara Frederika kennen und lieben.
Um zu ihr zurück zu kehren sind ihm alle Wege Recht und das Unheil nimmt seinen Lauf.
Kein Buch für laue Abendstunden im Sommer, trotzdem…, sehr lohnenswert gelesen zu werden.
