Zum Inhalt:
Nach drei Jahren in Hongkong kehrt Kommissar Harry Hole nach Oslo zurück. Der Prozess zu einem inzwischen abgeschlossenen Fall lässt ihn nicht los. Ein Jugendlicher wurde wegen Mordes verurteilt, es gilt als erwiesen, dass er einen gleichaltrigen Drogendealer im Streit erschossen hat. Doch Harry Hole glaubt nicht an diese einfache Geschichte und rollt den Fall gegen alle Widerstände noch einmal auf. Er besucht den angeblichen Mörder im Gefängnis - und ist schockiert, als er sieht, wen er vor sich hat.

Durchweg erntet der neunte Band um Harry Hole nur gute, bis sehr gute Kritiken.
